I haven't actually found that it's losing part of the template. All I've seen is that linebreaks are being lost in the edit field.

It doesn't seem to have any effect on the dispaly of web pages, though.

Seth and I have both noticed that, when editing templates in Mozilla/OS X, part of template can be lost in saving the page to the server. I followed his advice and started doing all my html editing in BBEdit (sorry, Mac only). If I have a problem with part of the template being lost, I find that BBEdit-->Text-->Zap Gremlins fixes the problem (n = 7).
